What does AnswerTeam do and how does it operate?

AnswerTeam is a Virtual Company. We provide vPAs (Virtual Personal Assistants) who provide a professional business telephone answering service for SMEs (small to medium sized enterprises) our team of professional call handlers work on a virtual basis (from home) and have done so for businesses over a number of years. These vPA’s are experienced PAs and Secretaries, many of whom are now parents and work part-time from home around their children's school hours. Others are retirees from a professional background.

What Products & Services do you offer?

Professional Telephone Answering services, message forwarding via either patching calls directly through to businesses (transferring calls directly), sms and/or instant email message notification for tradespeople and/or white collar businesses. ie. tradesmen, self-employed, gardening service businesses, tree surgeons, start-up companies, recruitment companies, solicitors, accountants, hairdressers, cleaning companies and any organisation that simply cannot afford to miss a call.

We also provide innovative solutions for sales and marketing, from direct mail marketing fulfilment to email marketing and SEO.

Whats Unique about your AnswerTeam? – What is it that would make a new customer choose you?

a. We are unique in that all our vPA’s work from home on a virtual basis. We allocate your business with the same vPA or more depending on call volume; the reason for this is so your vPA(s) will get to know you and your business needs and you will in turn get to know your own vPA(s). Your customers will not be subject to a ‘callcentre’ culture where a customer calls your business and they are always getting someone new, Call centres often use an ACD (Auto Call Distribution) this means the first person who is free will answer that call and whilst this system is perfect for many call handling solutions such as a large marketing campaign where a flood of calls are coming in at the same time, it may not be the answer for the small business user. AnswerTeam is not a call centre, you will not have a different person answering your business calls, it will be the same team of 2 or 3 dedicated vPA’s allocated to your business, whether you have 1 call a day or several.

b. No one size fits all. AnswerTeam is capable of delivering a bespoke service tailored around your business needs. You will have your very own team and client services manager, so they can understand your individual needs and those of your customers and of course you will get to know your team, your back office.

All of our vPAs live within the North West/Greater Manchester and Cheshire areas, we are a Virtual Business and not premise based, we nevertheless provide a UK wide service and are more than happy where necessary to meet with you at your premise or we simply sign you up virtually!!

How does it work?

a. AnswerTeam provide you with an 08 number or DDI number that you simply key pad in on your landline or mobile, this number is unique to your business.

b. If you wish you do not need to change your telephone number. We will talk you through the process and have you up and running within minutes. For those clients with an in-house switchboard, one of our engineers can talk to you on any telephone communication issues you may have and may even improve your existing system and associated costs.
